ANTIQUE Solid Silver LARGE SALVER TRAY 1912 Hallmarked Sterling SUPERB NR

NOT ENGRAVED- 19+ troy oz - London - SUPERB CONDITION

This is a delightful and very rare ANTIQUE solid sterling silver salver, tray or waiterwhich was made in London, England in 1912 by the famous Victorian silversmiths, Edward Barnard & Sons at their Hatton Garden workshops. It is round in shape and has a beautiful decorated gadrooned rim. It is raised on three gorgeous feet. It isa lovelysize. It measures 10 1/4" in diameter and stands 1 1/4" high - it is VERY substantial - it weighs598.2 grams which isvirtually 19 1/4troy oz. It is NOT engraved.

It is is in excellent condition for its age with a little less than the usual surface scratching and NO dents and NO dings collected over the last100+ years - SUPERB - but it does need a better clean than I have had time to give it. It still stands level.It is hallmarked with EB&SLd, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),leopard head, rshowing that it was hallmarked in London in 1912. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A lovely and very valuable ANTIQUE piece in superb condition afterover100 years!!!!!!
