DESCRIPTION If you are a lover of interesting and unusual vintage and antique jewelry, you've come to the right place. I try to keep a nice mix of fine and costume pieces that range in age from 19th century Victorian to late 20th century vintage designer couture. I have all sorts of wonderful jewels up for sale this week so please be sure to browse through all the listings. I'm quite certain you'll find something you can't live without! Fresh from a fine Texas estate comes a beautiful antique Victorian era cabochon and rose cut garnet ring with solid 10k gold band. It features a large 12mm x 7mm deep red garnet at center surrounded by 10, 3.5 mm rose cut garnets. The ring is a size 5 1/2" and the face measures 3/4" x 5/8". The ring is unmarked, but did as solid 10k gold and weighs approx 4.8 grams. The ring was re-sized at some point and there is a bit of discolation in that area(see photo #5). Also, one of the prongs of the ring was broken off at one point and a garnet lost. This garnet was replaced with one that sits a bit lower than the others(see photos #3 & #4). The ring still displays beautifully as it is.
