Description- Excellent mid 19th century good heavy gauge solid silver Old English pattern sauce ladle.
Terminal has a crowned griffin crest.
Fully hallmarked with the Leopard's for London assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, queen's head, date letter "a" for the year 1856 and the maker's mark "SH DC" which is Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater.
Condition - In excellent condition.
Dimensions & Weight -17.3cm long, the bowl is 6cm in wide
