This is an ANTIQUE RING that was made in the VICTORIAN STYLE during the 1910s from 18K YELLOW GOLD. The ring is centrally set with 1 NATURAL AMETHYST that weighs approx. 8.5 carats. This stone is a ROUND SHAPE with a BRILLIANT CUT CROWN and a FANCY CUT PAVILION - the facets appear as if they are spiraling outward from the center facet, resulting is enhanced scintillation and brilliance - hard to show in the photo. This BEZEL-SET stone measures approx. approx 14.5 mm in diameter by 8.72 deep. The ring is framed with 30 ROSE CUT WHITE DIAMOND that weigh approx. .75 ctw. These diamonds are WHITE WHITE, without the grayish color that is common for rose cut from this period. The head of the ring measures 13/16” in diameter and it sits 5/16” high.
