An antique 9 carat gold brooch, with applied decoration, and holding a finely hand carved natural shell cameo, depicting four classical goddesses, possibly depicting the Four Seasons.

Rather unusual, very collectible & wearable too!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1880. Marked \'9ct\'.

DIMENSIONS:68 x 54mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 19.9grams.
