This is one of the finest Victorian rings we have ever come across and is definitely Not for the Faint of Heart.Measures 1 full inch top to bottom, 3/4" wide and sits 1/2" high. Heavy gold ball& Hearts Filigree completely surrounds all9prong set Black Opalsin a large full bodiedmarquise shape, and then wraps aroundto form a substantial mirror image Heartundergallery which sits fairly high off the finger. Ring offers 2+ carats of Remarkable Black crystal Opals with tremendous blue green fire with just a hint of pink!The center Opal measures 9mm by 7mm, and each of the remaining stones 4mm round.There are7.2 grams of solid 14K gold in this ring, it is not a flimsy small ring, but quite substantial ~ as I said above not for the faint of Heart.
