AFINE ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER MUSTARD POT or CONDIMENT POT with THICK COBALT BLUE LINER and ACCOMPANYING ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SPOON.

The old British sterling silver holder with oblong latticed body. Fitted with a thick cobalt blue liner. Gadrooned borders. Bun form feet. Hand engraved bird crest lid with applied lid rest. Acanthusdecorated thumb reston aformed scroll handle. Marked underneath and on the underside of the lid as follows:

London (leopards head), Sterling (lion passant), SS W H ltd. (maker mark), \"a\" letter date mark in cartouche (1896)

The spoon is date marked 1880. Also from London.

EXCELLENT ESTATE CONDITION. NO DENTS. NO DAMAGE. NO ISSUES. GLASS IS PERFECT.

Measures approx. 3-1/2\" long and 2-1/4\" tall.

The silver parts weigh about 3.2 ounces (separate of the cobalt glass liner).
