If you are a lover of interesting and unusual vintage and antique jewelry, you've come to the right place. I try to keep a nice mix of fine and costume pieces that range in age from 19th century Victorian to late 20th century vintage designer couture. My offering to start off the month of March is by far the best this year. There are several exceptional Victorian and Art Deco pieces mixed with some outstanding designer costume. This will be an excellent opportunity to add some extraordinary pieces to your collection. Fresh from a fine Texas estate comes a most beautiful antique late Victorian engraved silver, black vitreous enamel, and pearl mourning bracelet. The bracelet is covered in a heavy black vitreous enamel and features a beautiful engraved floral design on the top with tiny seed pearl accents. The hallmarks indicate production in Austro Hungary between 1872-1937(the style places the piece more precisely in the late 1800's). The bracelet measures approx 5/8" wide with the interior measuring approx 6 1/8" around with a soft tape(please note the small size). There are some areas of professional restoration to the enamel. The largest areas are on the edges of the bottom of the bracelet and near the hinge and clasp. The piece displays beautifully as it is.
