ANTIQUE VICTORIAN TURNED LIGNUM VITAE TREEN TRINKET POT
Wonderful antique Victorian trinket pot or bowl, which has been produced from dark hardwood (possibly lignum vitae), with delightful turned and carved detail to the exterior. The pot has two loop brass pins to each side, and may have had a swing handle, to resemble a basket.AGEMid 19th century, circa 1850SIZEThe pot measures 6cm (2¼") in diameter and 4cm (1½") high.CONDITIONThe pin cushion is in a very good condition for age, although there is a fine crack to the base.
