ANTIQUE CZECH GLASS CAT

For sale on with is this lovely antique Czech frosted glass cat with crystal eyes. I have been led to beleive that these small frosted glass animals were given as presents at Christmas time in crackers or wrapped up & given as a Christmas favor at the table from the late 19th century & most where made in Czechoslovakia but other small factories made simillar items of varying quality. The earlier pieces tended to be of a larger size & smaller items favoured more during the early 1900's.

The cat measures approximately1 1/2 inches - 3.7 cmin height by 2 1/4 inches - 5.6cm in length

CONDITION

The cat is in really good condition with no chips or damage, just a really treasured little piece.
