Antique Vintage Old Schenectady Brass Face Putter Hickory Wood Shaft Golf Club :
Very good condition hickory wooden shafted R.G. ‘TUG’ TYLER Schenectady wooden head mallet putter. This is a right handed putter. This old American golf club has what appears to be its original wooden shaft that is without chips or cracks. No cracks to club head, neck, or shaft. Head is not stamped on this one, but definitely a Ralph ‘Tug’ Tyler putter. Shaft remains straight. Brass face plate and sole plate are one piece! The sole plate is very heavy and thick. There are a few nicks to the face (see pictures). This imperfection would not affect play at all. No cracks in head, neck, or shaft. Nice light honey patina to the brass. Intact leather wrap grip with intact grip whippings. Grip could well be the original and is not dried out. 32 ¼ inches in total club length. Very hard to find putter. Please see my other wood shafted and vintagecollectiblegolf clubs. Some are quite rare. Also listingcollectiblePING putters on a regular basis. All without reserve.
