Antique Vintage "shabby" Bar Harbor Reed Wicker Sofa :

Up for sale
A very pretty, vintage, "shabby", white wicker Bar Harbor Reed sofa. (On the sofa's back it has the"Triple X" where 3 reeds criss cross, which I am told means that the wicker was of the highest quality and one of the most well made examples of wicker furniture in the 1900's.) The sofa has been in myfamily for many years, and my immediate family has never had it out of doors. It was wellkept in a sunroom for the years I have owned it. I have moved and it no longer fits the room I need it to be in.The sofa is 81"s long, 31"s deep, and is 34"s high in the back to floor. The bottom of the seat is 15 3/4"s from the ground. The wicker itself is in great condition, but the springs, and supports are in need of repair. At one time,we replaced the covering between the new foam seat, and had it reinforced with webbing, but that hasgiven way after moderate use. All in all the couch has served our family well, and is in needof a new home and some repair. Please feel free to email me with any further questions. Thank you.
