Antique Vntg All Bisque German Doll-7"-hertel&schwab-fine Quality-#150-dressed For Sale
This sale is for a 7" Hertel & Scwab, marked #150 all bisque doll with her originalblueglass sleepeyes, ca. 1890-1910. She has a stationary neck, molded and painted black shoes with blue painted ribbed stockings. She is jointed at the shoulders and hips, and is strung well. She has 4 dainty teeth and is afine quality bisque with delicate painted eyebrows and lashes. She has no chips, cracks or hairlines, and no rub marks on her cheeks. She has on her original pale blue hair ribbon, and has on a lovely and very well tailored blue moire puff sleeve dress. Her cotton batiste slip andpantaloonsfeature in scale delicate, antiquelace and embroidery. Her pantaloons are sewn on so I did not disturb them. Her body feels very solid with no cracks or chips. She is a wonderfuladdition to any doll collection!
She is part of a large doll collectionin the Midwest that has been kept in a smoke free home and displayed under glass at room temperature.
