A lovely pair of antiqueFrench Edme Samson\'s porcelain figurines - a graceful flower-seller with a flower backet and a courting gentleman with his hat his hand.Date с 1870-1890.
Finely modelled and vibrantly-colored, they stand on identical round gilt-chain decorated bases and display superbly together. Illustrative of theFrench tradition of facial definiton and garmenting. Bases marked with a Chelsea golden anchor mark.
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
Stand 14 cm (5 1/2\") high, base dia 5 cm (2\").
