Armorial Door Knocker Brass Victorian Bear And Ragged Staff Warwick:
This is for a lovely old brass door knockerfrom around 1900 that depicts an armorial crest, that beingthe bear and ragged staff, which i believe is related to Warwick and Warwickshire. The back plate has three holes for attaching to a door and there is a registered design number that I can not read on the back. It is a lovely old knocker with a good look and feel, it is completely unpolished with a nice rich warm patina to the metal. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to itat all. The back measures 90mm (3.5") by 33mm (1.25") and the shield is 42mm (1.75") across. Please checkout all the othervintage door bells, handles, brass objects, lighters, vesta's, pipes, pens, pencils, seals, inkwells, clocks, cases and other vintage gentlemans accessories we are selling on this week.
