I find very few earrings from this manufacturer and this is the first pair I have ever seen in this style. I have a couple of treasured bracelets from Providence Stock Company, which I love and wear frequently. Their quality is always wonderfully consistent for such old pieces.These are beautiful little glass flowers in a gold-filled setting. These were originally vintage screwback earrings. The screwback fitting has been removed and some careful toolwork done to convert them to pierced. The conversion is completed with the addition of a14k gold-filledshepherd's hook earwire. The removed screwback fittings are hallmarked with the "PR ST Co" and "1/20 12K GF" and will be included with your purchase.This pair features lovely oval faceted clear foiled rhinestones surrounded an open-back pale teal blue round rhinestone. All the glass pieces are prong set in a lovely golden riveted fitting. The prongs are unusual in that they are rounded and a bit more substantial than most common prong settings. The metal setting is allfirmly solderedtogether and the finish is in beautiful shiny condition. The clear rhinestones show a bit of wear to the foil along the back facet lines. These are just absolutely gorgeous little floral pieces for your ears.These earrings are very petite at1 1/8" long, from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the drop. The drop is about 3/4" wide.Please refer to the pictures as part of the description. Cleaning Vintage Jewelry: I keep the cleaning
to a minimum on vintage pieces to avoid causing any damage. Additionally, I do not remove or polish off
any tarnish or surface darkening that a piece has acquired, unless it is
unavoidable during the creative process.
Most vintage jewelry enthusiasts like the warm-toned finish that most
metals acquire over time. Cleaning is
usually limited to a vigorous brushing with a dry toothbrush, occasional use of
a toothpick to pick out any obvious particles, and some polishing with a soft
cloth.
Workmanship Guarantee: If this listing is for an item that I have
created or modified, my workmanship is guaranteed! The guarantee covers the
work I did on the piece, NOT the original construction or original materials. Should a repair be needed at some point in
the future, and the individual components unique to this item are intact, I
will complete the repairs at my cost.
If it gets broken or damaged, don't lose the pieces. However, even if a component has been lost
or broken, it doesn’t hurt to ask about a repair, as I may still have some of
the original pieces available. Shipping
here and back for repair will be at your cost.
