ITEM: You are offerding on a vintage original late 1920s perhaps 1930s antique old pin up print with an alluring art deco flapper girl image by Rolf Armstrong , one of his most haunting images love her ice blue eyes and the little black star on her cheek! This was manufactured by the F. A. S. litho company in a process they called Oilette - it is an off set color lithograph printed on a textured paper-stock with a glossy shellac covering that glistens and catches light effectively to more resemble a painted surface. The finished look is handsome but they never really caught on in earnest. I believe this litho company the F. A. S. litho company was the only calendar company to offer these Oilette textured prints and they were circulatedin very small numbers making this a very scarce old print and a hard to locate Rolf Armstrong pin-up. Measures 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" with margins on a nice double weight paperstock 100% guaranteed vintage and original as always from GrapefruitMoonGallery.
CONDITION: In fine archived condition with light corner bumps in the margins is all ~~
