Thisis a lovely original from thebeginning of the 20th century.I picked it up in the French flea market Le Marche aux puces du canal in Lyon earlier this year.

The metal is possibly 800 quality European silver which appears to have been originally gilded. I have not tested it as I do not want to damage the delicate colour of the surface. I have added a matching 18 inch gold fill vintage chainin exactly the same shade of pale gold. It is set with lovely cabochon almandine garnets and tiny opals, there are 3 little moonstone drops, the stones are real not paste.

Condition excellent and original with fading to the gilding appropriate to the age of the piece, left uncleaned to retain patina.
