These basepad bumpers, followers and springs are for the factory magazines of the Sig and GSG (German Sport Gunworks) 1911 22LR pistols The added size of the basepad allows for more positive seating of the magazine in the gun. Plus, the aluminum construction is much more durable than the factory plastic basepad that are prone to breakage if dropped..

Together, the basepad and follower upgrade gives you added rounds.
