Pp. 4 pages + index maps & 40 numbered double page single sided hand colored exquisitely detailed maps of Manhattan. All the maps with corrections & new layouts pasted on. Fine modern brown cloth binding, with the original printed title label pasted onto the front cover. All the maps in surprisingly fine condition. A classic work. CONDITION REPORT: A rare book handsomely bound in a modern brown cloth binding (See Scans below), no wear/tear to covers, spine, ends & corners (See Scans below), the pages with some age toning, minor finger soiliong, are clean & bright (See Scans below), the binding is tight & intact (See Scans below). The leather is smooth & supple to the touch (See Scans below). Note: The blank lower outer margin of the index page with minor tear, else fine (See Scans below).
