Aurora had the vibrator line of slot cars from 1960 to 1962. In 1963, Aurora released the Thunderjet 500 (T-jet) chassis with new car bodies that had chrome bumpers. AFX replaced the T-jets in 1971. AFX stands for Aurora Factory Experimentals.
