The story: Back in late July of 1961 my best friend and I (both 8 years old at the time- who grew up near LaCrosse, WI.) went with our fathersto Packers Training Camp for 2 days. The entire 2 days my buddy and I chased autographs after practice- he on this Yearbook, and me in my autograph book. Some autos in this yearbook are signed in blue ink but mostare signed in black ink(although some are a little light on the front cover due to50 + years of wear, and at the end of the second dayhis penwas running out of ink). His black pen actually ran out of ink just as he handed it to Coach Lombardi at the end of day two. Lombardi took my friendspen and signed his name but no inkcame out, just the "impression" of the autograph onto the page,so Lombardi pulled a blue pen out of his own pocket and signed hisname with his ownpen right over the top of it and his autograph is perhaps the sharpest and boldest autograph in the entire program !(See scans above!!) Unfortunately my buddy died awhile back and I am selling this for his family.I saw him get all of these autographs in person, so I know they're the real deal ! ALL autographs are Guaranteed Authentic and will pass any PSA/DNA test !
Yearbook iscomplete, with no loose pages. This yearbook isin VERY GOODcondition overall - has some wear and a minor fold on the binding and covers.League schedule in the back is NOT scored. There are a few tape marks on inside cover and page 1 and also the last page and the back inside cover, otherwise therethere areNO pen or pencil marks or stains at all !
