this is a second generation storm glass that has some differences than the ones I previously sold. for starters, they are two piece, the tube and the base. you slide the pointed end of the tube into the base and it looks just like the old ones. second, when you open them, the liquid will be clear with no crystals. the old ones had crystals in them all the time where these only develop crystals when there is a change in the weather. on fair days, there will be no crystals, but when achange in the weather is coming, the crystals will develop. I wanted to try them out next to mine which is older, and I think these work better than the older ones. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will not accept returnsfor glasses that have no crystals when you receive them, being packed in styrofoam, they cannot do what they are supposed to do until you unpack them and set them up and sometimes it takes a few days. the two I tested took over a week to form crystals, but we had no change in the weather at all for that period of time. I have tested them and I am 100% positive that they work.International customers will have a$1.50 handling charge because I will have to purchase a box toship them in where domesticshipments will be priority mail where the boxes are free. I package these items very well so that they arrive safely. They stand approximately 7 1/2 inches tall and the base is approximately 3 1/8 inches square.
