An unusual and scarce collection of 7 different advertising cards issued by ARNAUD/NEW YORK. These cards appear to be advertising BOYS CLOTHES and each card has an Easter motif. The store name is on the back of the cards otherwise there is no printing. I have not been able to find any store in New York with the ARNAUD name. and the style of the cards and the fact that there is no information about this store, suggests that it was probably around the 1920s. Each card measures 75mm x 110mm and as you can see, are very colorful and the backgrounds appear to be gold leaf. Each card is in a mylar wrapper and has been for many years. There are no tears or folds but there is some minor soiling on the reverses. I have not been able to find anything like this and suspect these cards to be rather unusual and scarce ADVERTISING CARD and even rarer in this condition. NOW, having said all that, I have no proof as to whether or not these are advertising cards, but they sure do fit the bill.
