Altus flutes are renowned for being of the highest quality and Altus been hand crafting flutes for over 25 years. All Altus flutes have a beautifully crisp and easy sound in the high registers and benefit from lush, warm tones in the lower registers, especially those with the denser Brittania silver. Their sound is unique and coveted by some of the best players in the world. The mechanism and style has been said to be based on the french maker Louis Lot and the quality of workmanship is superb.

The Altus 907 is one of the most sought-after models and perfect for advancing students in their middle to latter grades. It has the benefit of the denser silver Brittania silver (95.8%) headjoint, instead of the 92.5% sterling silver and because of this produces a more warmer, richer tone.

This particular flute has hardly been played and is offered in beautiful condition. It comes with the velvet-lined Altus hardcase in excellent condition and a soft carrycase, which is more used but in very good condition also. Currently this flute retails at £2,295 incl Vat online and therefore this is a massive saving on a flute that looks and plays beautifully.
