ALUMINIA / ROYAL COPENHAGEN

Fantastic big size lidded bowl from the Aluminia (Royal Copenhagen) TENERA line of the late sixties/ seventies. The design is by Kari Christensen.

Look at the beautiful colors on top of the lid with a bright purple in center and shimmering glaze in ochre and beige - like mother of pearl.
Lovely tactile surface!

On verso marked with the Aluminia hallmark along the 3 waves, the model no 518/3334 , the signature of Kari Christensen (KC) and the painters signature.

This piece dates from 1966 (according to X under the M in Denmark)

Factory first
very good used condition
no chips, cracks or repairs. Very little age-related crazing in some of the white glaze (not on exterior as far as we can see).
