We will be listing some American Airlines memorabiliaas well as personal items from Mrs. Carmichael\'s estate. She is listed in the 1996 Guinness Book of Records. At one time she was the oldest flight attendant with the most seniority in all airlines. Mrs. Carmichael retired from American Airlines in 2000 at the age of 80. She was married to musician Wayne Carmichael who was a cousin to Hogey Carmichael - amusician & song writer during the Big Band era. Mr. & Mrs. Carmichael traveled the world extensively during her many years as a flight attendant & they documented their travels in photos, slides, film & video. This was an exciting couple, each famous in their own way. Please watch our listings over the next few weeks for more of their memorabilia - many are one of a kind.
