This AF Pre-War set has a 401 Steam engine and tender plus 4 cars.The engine is the Type 10 locomotive with copper piping and handrails. The tender is a type 3 with brass hand rails. The cars are the 6 1/2 size and are the3015 Box car, 2 - 3046 log cars, and a 3017 Caboose.All pieces are in nice, original condition.Trucks are the Type 15 trucks. Couplers are the Type 12 sheet metal knuckle couplers from 1938.
This is a vintage, pre-war set.

Condition: This set is in its original condition. It has not been repainted.401 Engine: The engine does work as does the reversing unit and headlight. The lead and trailing trucks and 1 driver are delaminating. There is onespot of touch-up paint on thecab roof.Cars:All cars showminor play wear and scratches.3216 Log cars:One looks to have an original load. The other looks like a repro to me. As well theretainer ties are present on one car but missing on the other.Finally, one car is in nice condition while the otherhas a bit of peeling paint on the bottomand could us a cleaning.The 3015 boxcar and the 3017 caboose are in nice condition. The caboose is unlighted.
