Very fine American Impressionist coastal view landscape in oil. This painting by Frank Zuccarelli probably depicts a scene on the central New Jersey coast, although the location is not noted on the work itself. He also painted extensively in New England, however there appear to be large buildings in the distance and so it is likely a scene of the New Jersey or New York City docks.
This painting features a fine composition that draws the eye into the scene. The brushwork is fluid and loose and the paint covers the entire surface of the work. The colors are quite beautiful and the subject matter is very interesting and animated.
Frank Zuccarelli was a very good painter and this is a good example of his impressionist work and a fine American painting.
This painting is in excellent original condition with no damage or restorations. It displays beautifully and does not need a cleaning.
The frame is also in good condition with some slight wear to the edges. It presents the work nicely but is older than the painting.
