An Antique Sterling Silver Four Piece Cruet Set Birmingham 1913
Item Description:An antique Sterling silver four piece cruet set, comprising of two mustard pots, and open salt pot, and a pepper pot. Each piece in the set has ornate embossed decoration around the rims, and the two mustard pots and the open salt pot all have cobalt blue glass liners.
Hallmarked:Birmingham 1913. ( hallmarks and makers marks worn )
Maker:Edward Souter Barnsley.
Silver Quality:925 Sterling Silver.
Initial engravings / Monograms:None.
Dimensions:Mustard pots: Length including handles: 7.6 cms. Height to top of finials: 4.5 cms. Salt pot: Length: 5.5 cms. Height: 3 cms. Pepper pot: Height: 8 cms.
Combined weight of set all in:201 Grams. ( silver weight alone: 135 Grams. )
Condition:The set has some age and use related tarnishing and several tiny indentations which are mainly on the pepper pot.
