Condition: It is in perfect condition.Except it is missing the spoon .

An inside painted glass snuff bottleBi RongjiuOf upright form, with a flat lip and a rounded oval foot rim around a convex foot, the interior painted with a landscape to one side, Another side painted with Wildlife and Lotus Leaves on Water .

Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925) established the Shandong School after training in Beijing. After 1897, his personal style on landscape painting became sophisticated. His early paintings were mostly inspired by Zhou Leyuan and Ma Shaoxuan.
Bi Rongjiu was the first one in Shandong who began painting inside bottles in 1893.
At that time he had a friend who made bottles and provided them to Zhou Leyuan
and other painters. Bi learned something about inside painting, tried it, and eventually
succeeded. His paintings were never very good but he is remembered primarily
as the founder of the Shandong School of inside painting.
