A beautiful, vibrantanddetailed Ming dynasty attendant figure, dating to the 15th Century.
This magnificent antique Chinese ceramic figure is superior to the vast majority of figures of this type, available on the market. The depiction is one of an austere looking court lady clad in long, thick green gown and with hair tied up in a bun she possibly represents the head of a harem or court procession.
Height:7 1/4inches.
Condition: Unrestored. Excellent condition and glaze preservation. Fantastic facial detail.

British private collection acquired Hong Kong in the 1980's.
