Ancient Persian Near Eastern Bronze Age Broad Arrow Head Weapon - 1200 B.c. For Sale
A fantastic, largeexample of a genuine Near Eastern Bronze Age arrow/spear point, dating to the Late Bronze Ageapproximately 1200 - 800 B.C.
The long, triangular blade with prominent, central mid rib, the robustpoint survives with square sided tang, exhibiting a beautiful malachite patina throughout.
Arrows such as this were used by the Early Cultures of Babylonia, Assyria and Anatolia. The Near East was at that time one of the most advanced regions on the planet and has been referred to as the "Cradle of Civilization". This arrow would have been used by some long-forgotten soldier, perhaps belonging to one of the mighty armies of Biblical King Nebuchadnezzar, approximately three Millennia ago.
