Welcome to our listing for a Teapot in Sadek\'s exclusive hand-painted pattern, Violet Polka Dots.

This teapot has lavender violets and heart-shaped kelly green leaves on a thin-lined green trellis in a wrap-around pattern. Above the violets\' trellis tips, is a lavender band with little 3mm-size polka dots. Gentle ribbed shaping starts at the polka-dot band and continues down the sides, finishing at the base. The lid and spout are also ribbed.

This teapot has a removable mesh strainer so you can use loose tea if you wish.

Hand-painting Details of Violets: It takes at least a second glance to see why the Violets are so attractive. It took the artist five brush stokes to create the hazy-lavender, pastel purple shaded Violets. Then came a .25\" slash of sunshine yellow across the center from the largest petal across to between the opposite two smallest petals. Two quick little \'Vs\' of royal blue abut each side of that yellow pollen to create depth. (It took a steady hand to do this last step. Blue mixed with yellow makes green. Obviously, the artist\'s brush didn\'t drag the blue into the yellow!) When you receive this, you\'ll enjoy seeing that none of the Violets- or the two-stroke leaves- are exactly alike! All is on an eggshell white background, gloss finish.
