A vintage silver and agate moth pin by Anglo silversmith Joe Eby, a native of New Mexico who makes jewelry in the Navajo traditional revival style. He specializes and excels at a long time Navajo tradition of making insect pins such as this moth pin, with detailed silverwork and 2triangular shaped agate stones, with his hallmark on the back, a spider with an "E" stamped on the abdomen. Pin measures 1 5/8" X 1 5/8", weight is 13 grams and pin is in excellent vintage condition.
