height off finger is just right. not too tall. very pretty etching up sides. sort of a heart shape on the crown which detracts from its ritzy look. also looking directly down onto the head from close up is a tiny bit of a let down as the \"side of a quarter\" like ribbing pattern is a bit cheap looking. other than that every other angle is stunning and on the finger it looks fantastic the \"across the table\" shape is outstanding and I say that because after the inital close look when you first get it 98% of people will be seeing it at an arms length and its one of the best I\'ve seen from that distance. now.....the diamond is not good and will most likely not be good on yours. it will have noticeable defects. ours has three black circles in it you can see with the naked eye. IF you looking for them. if you care about a quality diamond you will return this ring. if you are fine with the fact that this came from the earth in all its glory, you will fall in love with this ring the instant you put it on.
