This stunning statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is lovingly hand carved. The soft colors are muted like the grand statues in the most beautiful cathedrals of Central Europe. Graceful, calming, head tilted showing the care in which this statue was carved. One hand up in a blessing, the other, slightly touching his heart, the “sacred heart”. The edge of his robes listen with the slightest touch of gold. His hair nestled on His shoulders. The base of the statue is octagonal, 2 1/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches. It stands 6 3/4 inches tall. I am selling this and two other statues for an elderly neighbor.
