This is a SUPERIOR example of an ANSONIA Antique Parlor Mantle Clock in EXCELLENT Clean Original condition. It was made circa 1880s. It is a very happy mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. Runs Great! Sounds the hour on the hour the original high quality cathedral gong! It is a super very unique rare style clock and measures 22 inches high 14 inches wide and 4 ½ inches deep. It has a signed "ANSONIA CLOCK COMPANY" 8 day time and strike movement! The movement runs very well and keeps good time. The movement was just cleaned, oiled, pivots polished and bushings added where needed. This clock will not need servicing for many years to come, and is ready for the next 100 years! This is a labor intensive service, with many clockmakers charging 250.00 and up. We recommend having it oiled every 2 to 3 years to keep it in tip-top shape! With the purchase of this clock for an additional $ 2.25 we will include an oiler kit with a professional oiler loaded with enough oil to oil approximately 50 clocks with easy instructions so you could even do it yourself! It strikes the half hour and the hours on a very neat SIGNED great sounding gong! This is a superior 100% all original clock! The case is unique! The case is made of solid walnut with a Victorian style in outstanding condition. Has a superior original finish in outstanding condition aging to a beautiful antique patina. The signed dial is original and in superior condition. The door fits well and is tight. The glass is wavy with seeds – original! This clock has an adjustment for fast and slow on the original rare and fancy pendulum. This way you do not have to take the clock down from its shelf to adjust it for slow and fast! The back is original! Complete with the original pendulum and a new key! Quite rare for a clock to retain its original pendulum! We have included some pictures of the signed movement so you can see its inner beauty. The glass is very wavy and original.

And the truly amazing thing with proper care they will work easily past the next 150 years, or even much more! This is one of the largest NAWCC regional conventions and its great to see our old friends there!
