This mantle clock is an amazingly crafted antique. All its parts look original, but it shows signs of heavy patina and wear. It is missing back plate and the keys, so there is no way I can test and tell if it is running. Also no rear foot adjusters and the bottom gong plate is easily removed .The mechanism seems in to be all present .Printed on the movement is \"ANSONIA CLOCK Co. PATENTED JUNE 14.81 PATENTED JUNE 18.1882 NEW YORK, U.S.A.\". It measures 18.5\" x 7 .5\" at the base and 19.5\" from the bottom to the top of the clock tip. Not a clock expert but enjoy all things old quality produced and unique . Great for a conversation piece or for restoration. Have not confirmed weight but ita about 50 lbs.
