ANTIQUE (EARLY 1900's?) PAINTED & GILT BAROQUE RELIC CABINET w/GILT WOOD SANTOS (no key)
The cabinet stands 15-1/4" tall, measures 17" wide & 8-1/2" deep. The interior of the cabinet measures 12-1/2" tall, 8-1/2" wide & 5" deep. The exterior of the cabinet is painted off white with gold trim. The interior is painted gold. There are areas where the paint has worn off & where the wood is chipped. Please note where the back has come away from the side (photo #5). However, it has been screwed on tightly & is not loose.
The santos is gilt wood & stands 11-1/2" tall, measures 4-1/2" wide & 3" deep. He is holding a cross with the image of Jesus on it. It is loose on one side (unattached). Some of the paint has chipped on the back of his head, the front of his garment & on the base. The cabinet & santos are being sold as is. Please look closely at the photos. Weighs just over 12 lbs. A wonderful antique collectible!!
