A wonderful, very fine vintage enamel mesh purse. It features a wonderful enamel design, with a dark blue, pink and green floral design on a white background. The mesh continues on the bottom creating a fringe in the blue, green and white. It is attached to a gold toned frame that's very detailed. At the top, the clasp has two perched birds, facing outwards, flanking a wreath that creates a hole that the clasp goes through. Attached to the top of the frame is a brass chain made of elongated loops. The frame is marked on the inside "MANDALIAN MFG CO." an American maker of fine purses from the late 19th Century into the 20th Century, a big competitor of Whiting & Davis during the late Victorian/Art Deco age, later purchased by Whiting & Davis in the 1940's.
4 1/4" wide at the purse's frame. 7" from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the mesh fringe
Very good condition. The enamel is in great shape, and the mesh doesn't have damage at the hinges where it's commong. This purse is in great shape.
All items I sell have multiple pictures and are described as completely and accurately as I can, however, I'm no expert. If you have any questions, or require any additional information, please feel free to email, I will try to answer your question within a 24-hour period as best as I can.
I pack things carefully and securely to the best of my ability, and use ample packing material. I do not charge for handling and packaging.
Domestically (inside US), I usually ship USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise requested, or noted. I will sometimes ship first class for lower-priced items that require only an envelope or such.Delivery Confirmation is included.USPS Insurance costs are not included.
International buyers, I will ship USPS First Class International in most cases, depending on weight. Anything weighing over 4lbs when packed, or valued at more than $400 cannot be shipped First Class, and requires me to send it Priority Mail at a higher rate. I try to keep shipping costs low, so my shipping costs do NOT include Tracking/Registered, nor Insurance. If you want to track the package, it is an extra $12.95 for that service. Insurance costs depend on the final value of the item, approx. $1.50-$2.00 for each $100. Please request either of these if you want them prior to paying, and I will send you a new invoice. Please figure your shipping costs prior to offerding, and if you have a problem doing so with 's program, e-mail for approximate shipping rates, since they vary depending on where you are located.
I absolutely will combine shipping when purchasing two or more items.
· Shipping will usually be immediate once payment has cleared, however, I reserve the right to do so up to 5 days following the sale, as this is not my job, but rather, a hobby.
Payment expected within 5 days, (if not able to, please contact me to make other arrangements).
Per ’s policy, I can accept:
Or, for those of you local, pay in person when you pick up.
I process my response, and I do take it seriously. I hope you will as well.
Thank you for your interest and thanks for offerding, really appreciate it!
