PLEASE READ BEFORE offerDING:

This sale is for a 15 3/4 in. reinforced poured wax lady doll. Ca. 1860-90s. Poured wax shoulder head lined on the inside with plaster composition. Beautiful set bluespiral glass eyes, open mouth with upper teeth, original brown mohair wig, muslin body with wax-over-composition lower long arms andpainted molded yellow boots. Painted white stockingswith a blue band along the top. Redressed with old clothing, dress,mink fur stole, hat (newer), antiquechemise and half slip. She is missing her pantaloons.Ibelieve these wax fashion ladies are a little more difficult to find and she is a lovely example.Stand not included.Please read condition below andlook at all of the photos as they are part of the description.

CONDITION:Very nice condition. Wax is in very nice condition.Some facial paint wear such as the eyebrows. Fabric at the top of each arm has tears, example shown in photo #9.Both arms are lovely with all fingers are present. Front upper legs have two holes in the fabric as shown in the last photo. There appears to be a repair to the muslin fabric on her back as shown in photo #7. Use the zoom feature.Boots are fabulous withmissing wax at the toe ofher left boot as shown in photo #10. Minor wax cracks on the legs, but not bad and not worth mentioning.Dress is very old with some light tears.No odor and from a smoke-free environment.While I make every effort to describemy items to the best of my ability I encourage you to look at all of the photos so that you can form your own opinion of condition.
