Presented is an antique, 18th century, English sterling silver footed tray madeby Elizabeth Tuite ofLondon in 1740. This old piece is heavy for its size. The tray is raised on 3 feet and has a raised, shell form border. The tray is beautifully hand chased with a floral border. This piece has never been monogrammed.
The underside is marked with the crowned leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter e for the year 1740 and a maker's mark.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age. Two of the feet have a split and one has an old, solder repair.
