Antique Late 1800\'s Ansonia \"Buffalo\" Model Gingerbread Clock - Works!
All original except for winding key; Glass door has hand stenciled silver accents; Case is solid oak original finish; original 8 day movement; dial and pendulum
This \"gingerbread\" style clock is an exclusively rare find in this condition!
Antique Key is Included (although likelynot original to this clock)
Marks: Label on back of case indicates the Ansonia Clock Company...Eight Day Strike...Buffalo (model)...Prize Medal Awarded Paris Exposition 1878...
221/2\' high, 14 1/2\" across widest point, 5\" deep, clock face & bezel 6 1/2\" diam.
CaseCondition: The wood case is in excellent condition withsome normalwear and ageof finish; glass front has some residue and scratching but no cracks, breaks or chips
Mechanism Condition: The clock is in good working order ...recently cleaned and oiled... chimes on the hour with number of strikes counting the hours and one chime on the half hour. Pendulum can be adjusted for speed to keep accurate time.
Note to buyer: Shipping antique clocks can have affect on mechanisms which may result in professional adjustment required to the mechanisms.
Shipping: Clock will be safely packed and shipped with pendulum removed as appropriate; insurance included in shipping cost
