Antique 1830\'s Georgian Irish Crystal Sweetmeat Compotes, Pair WELCOME TO MARIE CROFT ANTIQUES!
From a local Bay Area estate, we have for your consideration a pair of stunning 1830\'s 1 heavy crystal covered compotes. Honeycomb design with knob handle. Elegant with a wondrous ring to the crystal.
Age: Early 19th Century
Measurements: Approximately 5 1/2\" Compote, 6\" Lid in diameter with a height of 11\"
Condition: There is an inner hairline to the pedestal of one compote - see last photos for detail. It does not go all the way through. Lots of surface wear on the bottom - a testament to their age. Also, minor chips on 3 of the corners as well as a minor flea bite on the compote rim. All of these could be easily smoothed out by a glass repair person if desired. Otherwise, excellent antique condition without other noted flaws.
