Beautiful Forestville Clock Movement from Bristol, CT. Made by a clock maker named J C Brown. The clock dates to the 1840s period. One of Forestville\'s early brass 8 day movements here. Some clock makers were still making clock movements with wooden works at this time. Exceptional looking wood case here.
The clock face door and the pendulum door are securely in place as are the pins that hold them in.
Nice looking 8 day brass movement here. This movement appear to be original.
