Antique 1850's E.N. Welch Ripple Case Round Gothic Beehive Clock for Restoration
First off, I am not a clock person. I acquired a number of antique clocks and antique clock parts that I will be listing in the next few weeks. If additional information or photos are needed, please do not hesitate to ask and I will try my best to answer. All clocks and clock parts are being sold AS-IS for restoration or repairs. For your consideration is this E.N. Welch Ripple Case Round Gothic Beehive Clock. Thanks to one of my many online "clock friends", I have learned that this clock was featured in Ly's "Welch Clocks" on page 175. It dates around the mid 1800's. It measures 18 3/4" tall by 10 1/8" wide by 4" deep. This clock movement is marked "E.N. Welch, Forestville, CT., U.S.A.". As shown in the photos, the face and door have been removed. The casing for the face is in pieces and needs to be repaired/ replaced. The movement seems to be working, but this clock does not come with a pendulum or key, but does wind (using a personal key). The gong works, but is flat sounding to my ear. I took quite a few photos, please enlarge them.Click Each Photo To Enlarge

A question was sent asking if we  placed the top round bezel together as if assembling it, were all the
pieces of the ripple moulding present to complete the circle.
We tried to put it together as best we could and took photos. Â It seems that there is a piece missing.
