Antique 1875 Walnut Highchair Stroller Carriage Convertible Rare East Lake & Haunted
This chair is very rare. Most are oak and very few are ever found with large wheels.
Patented by Tenney & Hobbs on June 22, 1875. This is apparently the earliest version. The updated patent of March 2, 1878 refers to this modeland shows a different location of smaller rear wheels. The rare original cane seat pattern which was badly crumbling has been reproduced specifically for this chair. A sample of the original pattern will be included with the chair.
A portion of the patent improvement is reprinted here:

NOTE REGARDING THE HAUNTING:
Five of the photos in this listing contain orbs. I have not been able to reproduce them, or explain them. I could not find any article in the area which would cause the orbs. I have always been skeptical of this kind of thing, butI have taken thousands of photos for my items, and have never seen anything like this. You be the judge. If you have a haunted doll or like haunted stuff, this might be the perfect match.See photos five through nine.
