Antique 1878 First Black Mark Belleek Cup & Saucer w/Registry Mark ExCond:

For your consideration is this rare Belleek cup and saucer set that has multiple marks on both pieces. There is the First Black Mark stamping, there is the impressed Belleek mark, and there is the impressed registry mark that shows the date of registration to be April 27, 1878. I have not been able to identify the pattern, but you Belleek collectors should know what it is. The 3-footed cup is 2 1/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches across the rim, and the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, dings or repairs, and there is minor loss of the yellow portion in the center of the saucer.
