Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century French Victorian Brass Carriage Clock, made by Duverdrey & Bloquel St.-Nicolas-d'Aliermont, France. This has a Duverdrey & Bloquel Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time Only" Movement, which winds from the Rear and includes the Winding Key. It is signed "Made in France" and has the "D&B" Lion Trademark. The Dial is a White Porcelain Dial with Black Numerals. This is a Great Small Size! The Clock measures approx. 4 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep, or 6" tall if measured to the top of the Handle. The Clock has some wear from age and should polish up nicely. This has the Original Beveled Glass which is in Fair Condition. The front Glass has a small chip in the corner and so does the right panel. The Rear Glass is Fine. the Left panel has a Crack and the Top Glass is Spider Webbed, as pictured. This Runs Strong and is in Overall Decent Condition for its age with a Wonderful Aged patina! This Clock Runs and Keeps Good Time! This will make a Stunning addition to your home. This is in Overall Good Condition, As Pictured! Don't pass this one up! This is Estate Fresh, Sold As Found.
